Research

Thru research we could see that woman in their 40s are the biggest consumers of the textile industry although it also became visible that it is Gen Z woman that consumes fashion most unsustainably.

We spoke with five different woman in age group 20-29  that all shared an interest in fashion. This told us that all tough they like the idea of consuming second hand it often resulted in a more time consuming experience in unorganized and messy environments. All of them found shopping online a more cohesive experience, where search and filter options where available.

When asked if they had a previous experience of swapping none of them had tried it before but 4 out of 5 where positive but all sheared one common concern, unorganized mess.

Insights

We might not be able to make them stop shopping but hopefully we can make them start swapping.
